Mars in Libra

Did we notice that over the weekend Mars entered Libra? Mars is self-oriented action and ego; Libra is other-oriented indecisiveness. Soccer coach Ron Atkinson once quipped, "Well either side could win, or it could be a draw." Pretty much sums up Mars in Libra. Mars will be in Libra for EIGHT MONTHS!!! (As opposed to usual two). Is there a Libran in our life? It's not too late to buy flame resistant outerwear.

Astrology says take up yoga, meditation, or ...

How well do we like roller coasters? If we like 'em lots, we'll like the first half of 2014. We're entering a turbulent period astrologically speaking and the peaks and valleys of life are going to be really peaky and valleyey. (Yes, "valleyey" is a word 'cause I just wrote it). More on this to come but for now ... if we've ever thought of taking up yoga, meditation, tai chi, or heavy drinking, now might be a good time to start. On the up side, if we have kids, friends, or partners who perpetually say, "I'm bored," they'll be saying it much less so in the near future.

Comet Ison commeth

eople keep asking me what does Ison's appearance mean? Comets are harbringers. So what is Ison harbringing?--Danged if I know. I can say, it's near Merc and Saturn in Scorpio and that pair together in this sign fosters arguments and quarrels (often that cause separations). So the comet this close to Christmas? A rather pissed off Santa? There's an upside!--Merc/Saturn in Scorpio can be channeled to bringing about transformation in personal lives by overcoming mental obstacles.

Thur Nov 21st Stars say

Stars say be in a good mood this afternoon and into the evening, because whatever mood we start out in is going to grow and grow. You know what this means?-we can send a note we know will annoy that difficult neighbor, co-worker, sibling (etc) and let the stars do the rest of the work ...
Yesterday I was going to post that stars say a restless night will be followed by a morning of obsessing on some thought or another. But too busy reading charts to get to it ...I guess I should've just got up at 1 am instead of tossing and turning and posted it!
