First Quarter Moon Haiku

We can't have our bridge

and burn it too, or is that

supposed to be cake?

Today's e-mail message from Repower America says, "Today is Decision Day." No, that's tomorrow, when Moon aligns with Saturn, guardian of lines in the sand (oil covered lines if it's Gulf coast sand). Today Luna aligns with Mars, and it's energized-emotions-leading-to-decisions day. Over fed emotions today can inspire making or breaking commitments tomorrow. Put impulsiveness on a diet and delay consequential decisions until after Friday for best results.

Martian Haiku

It's said the second
blow starts the fight, so peaceful
folk get licks in first.

Now through mid June offensive and defensive buttons will be easily pushed. Mars, the cosmic hero or cosmic two year old, is in a problematic phase. We're more likely to channel our inner hero or inner two year old (in need of a nap) at this time. Adult two year olds will be thick on the ground through Mid June, carry suckers with which to distract them long enough to make a getaway.

On getting lost

Someone once asked Daniel Boone if he'd ever been lost. "I can't say as I was ever lost," he replied, "but I was bewildered once for three days." We'll sympathize over the next few days, as Mars, planet of focused action, opposes Neptune, god of illusion and delusion. Mirages in the desert will appear, siren songs across water will be heard. This aspect offers the choice between getting lost or being misguided. If we understand that the two are not the same, we'll be fine.
